Warlung announce new album ‘The Poison Touch’
WARLUNG have announced a new album!
Titled The Poison Touch, the upcoming album from the Houston, Texas-based occult heavy rock band is the follow-up to 2022’s Vulture’s Paradise, and is scheduled to be released in February next year, via Heavy Psych Sounds.
The upcoming album intends to delve deeper into atmosphere while maintaining the gritty undertone that defines these doom rock specialists. From start to finish, the listener is blasted with in-your-face, hard-rocking energy while simultaneously feeling like a hauntingly beautiful experience.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; 29th Scroll, 6th Verse. The new music video was first premiered via Doomed & Stoned.
Speaking about the new song, the band shares, “this song is an ode to classic sci-fi, this song warns against the destructiveness of human nature. It’s an interpretation of the Law Giver’s sacred scriptures from The Planet Of The Apes lore.”
