Waterlines release new music video for ‘KÖNIG’

WATERLINES have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track KÖNIG, is the brand new single from the Yorkshire metalcore band (formerly known as SERTRALINE) and follows on from their previous single, The Halo Around The Horns, which was released in November last year.

Speaking about the new single, vocalist Ben Mars says, “lyrically, KÖNIG is the product of me wanting to tell a story for a close friend of mine. Many people will know what it’s like to watch someone drown from outside the box and just want to scream at them to run the other way.

This song is about recognising your worth and treating yourself like the King (or Queen!) you are. Musically, yeah, we wanted to push it just a little bit more… There’s a lot of influences in the band, from every corner of the musicverse and we wanted to push the boat out and write music we want to listen to. KÖNIG is what happens when we all come together with a view to do something fucking stupid. I think it works…”
