Weedpecker announce new album ‘V’
Poland’s heavy psychedelic rock pillars WEEDPECKER have announced a brand new album!
Titled V, the upcoming album marks the band’s fifth studio effort and is scheduled to be released on February 27th, 2026 via Heavy Psych Sounds Records. Forged in a crucible of personal change and existential reflection, V intends to stand as their most personal and refined work to date.
Speaking about the album’s emotional core, guitarist and vocalist Piotr Dobry says, “I started writing the songs for V at the beginning of 2023. While creating this material, I kept returning to one thought: everything we take for granted is, in reality, incredibly fragile. Nothing lasts forever, and the sense of things slipping away can hit much sooner than we expect. I tried to translate those feelings into sound.”
Alongside the album announcement, the band have released its debut single, titled Fading Whispers.
