Wode announce new album ‘Uncrossing The Keys’
WODE have announced a brand new album!
The upcoming album, titled Uncrossing The Keys, is the fourth full-length effort from the Manchester-based black metal band and is scheduled to be released in October this year, via 20 Buck Spin.
Following 2021’s Burn In Many Mirrors, which saw the band embrace a more violent and predatory black/death metal approach, Uncrossing The Keys intends to continue the band’s evolutionary trajectory. The new record sees WODE incorporating elements from various dark corners of the underground, with songwriting that has grown leaner yet more intricate, focused, and melodic than ever.
Uncrossing The Keys was recorded and mixed by James Atkinson at The Stationhouse [CARCASS, ANGEL WITCH], mastered by Magnus Lindberg [TRIBULATION, WOLFBRIGADE, LUCIFER], and completed with artwork by Set33, photography by Stephen Fletcher, and layout/design by Envoy Of Death.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Transmutation.
