Worm release new music video for ‘Blackheart’
WORM have released a new music video!
The necromantic Floridian black doom creators have unveiled Blackheart, their second single and the latest chapter in the band’s official Necropalace short film series, and is taken from their upcoming new album of the same name, which is scheduled to be released in February, via Century Media Records.
Directed by Norman Cabrera [DANZIG, The Walking Dead, Fright Night II] with production by Maya Kay and colour work by Alex Nicolaou [DRAB MAJESTY], the short film continues WORM’s dark fantasy vision under the guidance of cult horror director Ted Nicolaou [TerrorVision, Subspecies].
“We consider this to be a gothic vampire love ballad,” says vocalist Phantom Slaughter. “Sharing a different kind of emotion and color than the rest of the record. The lyrics touch on the isolation and loss one feels as a child of the night. Musically, Blackheart fuses Avant-garde era KATATONIA and our love of FIELDS OF THE NEPHILIM with icy AOR like FM (UK), STRANGEWAYS, and HAREM SCAREM. We could not leave behind our Floridian heritage so there are also frozen swamp nods to DEATH (Symbolic) as well as CRIMSON GLORY.”

Necropalace is set for release on February 13th, 2026 via Century Media Records. Pre-orders are available now and can be purchased here.
