Wormed announce new album ‘Omegon’
WORMED have announced a new album!
Titled Omegon, the upcoming album from the Spanish technical death metal band is the long-awaited follow-up to 2016’s Krighsu (and 2019’s Metaportal EP), and is scheduled to be released in July this year, via Season Of Mist.
The upcoming album was recorded at BlackStorm Studios in Karrantza, Basque Country and was mixed and mastered by Colin Marston at Menegroth, The Thousand Caves in Queens, New York. On the upcoming album, the band continue the story of Krigshu, a timeline hacker entangled in manipulation by cosmic forces. As viciously as the aggression they bring on their technically impressive instruments, Krigshu battles his way to unlock the mysteries of Omegon, a mysterious cosmic substance holding ultimate power.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Automaton Virtulague.
