Wormrot announce new album ‘Hiss’

WORMROT have announced a new album!

Titled Hiss, the upcoming album from the Singapore-based grindcore band is the long-awaited follow-up to 2016’s Voices and is scheduled to be released in July, via Earache Records.

Since their last record, the band have endured through a period of burnout, life responsibilities, frontman Arif‘s vocal chord damage, and of course the COVID pandemic, coming out the other side with renewed vigour and inspiration. Likening themselves to an injured snake lying coiled up and dormant, the three-headed beast that is the band is now ready to strike again.

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Behind Closed Doors. Speaking about the new song, guitarist Rasyid claims, “this is our fight song. No nonsense. Hit hard.”
