Your Future Is Metal announce self-titled debut EP
YOUR FUTURE IS METAL have announced their debut EP!
A self-titled effort, the debut EP from the London-based heavy metal duo is scheduled to be released in June this year via self-release. The band comprises Johann Saul (vocals and guitar) and Salaryman Ben (drums), who are both ex-members of WEATHERED HANDS and REAL AUTHORITY.
Speaking about the creation of the band, Saul comments, “I don´t see this band as our baby so much as our Frankenstein´s monster, of which I am proud (and equally horrified) of every necrotic limb.”
Alongside the announcement of the EP, the band have released a music video for its lead single DO YOU WANT TO DANCE (WITH A WANTED MAN)?.
Speaking about the track, Saul adds, “I like to think of this song not only as a comment on the glorification of serial killers but also as a tribute to all the lovers of macabre who consume the media that immortalises these frightening characters.”
