18 more bands confirmed for Mammothfest

Mammothfest have confirmed another 18 bands for this year’s festival!

Easter is barely upon us, but that hasn’t stopped the tenacious team over at Mammothfest HQ from continuing to whip all and sundry into a glorious frenzy over this year’s announcements. Having barely recovered from last week’s news that Polish tech-death metal titans DECAPITATED will be headlining Brighton’s heaviest annual gathering this October, today’s confirmation of another 18 bands (out of the 50 in total) is quite literally music to our ears.

Leading the charge in today’s announcement is BLEED FROM WITHIN, who look certain to pummel eardrums and roast faces with the release of upcoming album Era which is set to drop on April 6th. Speaking about the addition of the Glaswegian metal mob, festival director Steve Dickson says “It is an honour to welcome BLEED FROM WITHIN to our 6th Mammothfest; they are already legends with a career spanning 2 decades, 4 albums and videos reaching their millions such as 2009’s Servants Of Divinity. Brighton is simply not ready for this weekend!”

Also confirmed in today’s announcement are some of the fiercest names in extreme metal. Brace yourselves for CYTOTOXIN, UNFATHOMABLE RUINATION, RECTAL SMEGMA, MARTYRIUM, DIVINE CHAOS, KRYSTHLA, HOSTILE, ANGELCRYPT, ASCARIS, MAGNA CARTA, KILL ALL THE GENTLEMEN, STAHLSARG, SODOMIZED CADAVER, BEYOND GRACE, VENDETTA (UK) SHYLY VIRUS, and EMBODIMENT.
