2000trees Festival announce another 16 bands

16 more bands have been announced for this year’s 2000trees Festival!

The second full band announcement for 2000trees Festival is here, and it includes the Thursday main stage headliner, a stage (The Axiom Stage) take over and a run down of the five bands in five days announcement roll out that happened on Jan 21st-25th.

As announced on the stage at Wembley Arena at his sold out show, returning festival hero Frank Turner will be the 2019 Thursday main stage headliner. Joining Frank Turner will be a host of his old Xtra Mile pals, with the label taking over The Axiom Stage on the Friday, including headliners MÖNGÖL HÖRDE, SKINNY LISTER, JIM LOCKEY & THE SOLUMN SUN, CRAZY ARM (playing Born To Ruin in full), Sean McGowanOXYGEN THIEF, BRAND NEW FRIEND, DEUX FURIEUSES. Two more artists are announced for the Forest Stage which are Johnny Lloyd and Grace Petrie (who has also been on the Frank Turner tour as support).

On top of all this, the festival also announced five bands, one a day between Monday Jan 21st and Friday 25th, which were ROLO TOMASSI, THE ST PIERRE SNAKE INVASIONPETROL GIRLS, WSTR and LIFE.

Speaking about performing at this year’s festival, Frank Turner says, “I’ve been playing the wonderful 2000trees Festival since its inaugural year in 2007, and more than most places in the world it feels like home to me. I’m excited about coming back again in 2019 to headline, my fifth year there. See you in the fields.” ROLO TOMASSI adds, “it’s a pleasure to return to play 2000trees. The festival continues to go from strength to strength in terms of the calibre of artists it attracts and it’s an honour to be included among them.”

2000trees Festival takes place at Upcote Farm, near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire from July 11th-13th 2019. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here.
