2000trees Festival have announced the first wave of bands for their 2027 edition!
Following a blockbuster 2026, the award-winning independent festival will celebrate its 20th anniversary when it returns to Upcote Farm, Gloucestershire from July 7th-10th, with the first announcement including NEW FOUND GLORY, CREEPER, REUBEN, MANNEQUIN PUSSY, THE MENZINGERS, FEVER 333, UNPEOPLE, CHALK, BAYSIDE, LONELY THE BRAVE, NATIVE JAMES and many more.
Leading the announcement are pop-punk veterans NEW FOUND GLORY, who will make their long-awaited 2000trees debut. The band are set to close the main stage and celebrate 30 years together with two exclusive performances, including a deep cuts set in The Forest on the Friday.
Speaking about the festival’s milestone year, organiser James Scarlett says, “I’m very proud of where we are as we come into celebrating 20 years! It is still the original six friends that started 2000trees and we’re all still involved in some way, and that isn’t going to change. We’ve held on to be independent and continued our original aim, which was to create a festival that we would want to go to ourselves and nurture new artists just as much as we want to celebrate the bigger acts. It seems wild to think how it began and to have the rich history of acts like FRANK TURNER, IDLES, WOLF ALICE, GEORGE EZRA, KNEECAP and so many more that have gone onto incredible things. 2027 is going to be a massive celebration.”
NEW FOUND GLORY add, “all year we have been working on shows in 2027 to celebrate the 30 year anniversary of NFG. Chad was a part of all these plans and will be there in spirit with us as we celebrate with our fans all around the world. And like BEANS ON TOAST we’re excited to kick it off with the 2000trees announcement in the UK!”
Elsewhere, 2027 will feature an exclusive reunion performance from cult favourites REUBEN, marking the band’s first-ever appearance at the festival. Other anniversary celebrations include THE MENZINGERS performing a special 10th anniversary set of After The Party, while LONELY THE BRAVE will reunite with original vocalist Dave Jakes. INME, who headlined the very first edition of 2000trees in 2007, will also return for a special anniversary set.
Fast-rising UK rock outfit UNPEOPLE are also set to return. The band comment, “we are excited to return to Upcote Farm next year! having been born as a band at trees in 2023, it’s safe to say this festival means a great deal to us. we can’t thank James and the team enough for their continued support not only for us, but for the community and overall scene. untreeple 2027.” Meanwhile, NATIVE JAMES says of his appearance, “I can’t believe it! I’ll be so real to have a place on the Main Stage is just nuts. It’s Naruto runs all day until I play… let’s create carnage.”
In addition to the main bill, 2000trees 2027 will host a special Revival Tour takeover in The Forest, curated by Chuck Ragan of HOT WATER MUSIC and featuring BRIAN FALLON, DAVE HAUSE, DAN ANDRIANO, TIM BARRY, EMILY BARKER and JENNY OWEN YOUNGS.
