Karg announce new album ‘Resignation’
KARG have announced a new album!
Titled Resignation, the upcoming album from the Austrian post-black metal band is the follow-up to 2020’s Traktat (and 2021’s EP Resilienz), and is scheduled to be released in November this year, via AOP Records.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new song from their upcoming new album; Grab der Wellen. Speaking about the new song, the band says, “Grab der Wellen (Grave of the Waves / Waves Grave) is the third track of Resignation. Lyrically, this song is about melancholy and that the people feeling that way will never be entirely free of agony and the wish to die. They court death by putting themselves in risky situations, live in the fast lane, or simply burn from both ends. They die way too soon, not literally by killing themselves, but by going one step too far. And in the end, nothing will be left of them, except their love and the memories shared while they were near us and close.”
