Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs announce new album ‘Land Of Sleeper’
PIGS X7 have announced a new album!
Titled Land Of Sleeper, the upcoming album from the Newcastle-based band is the follow-up to 2020’s Viscerals, and is scheduled to be released in February next year, via Rocket Recordings.
The upcoming album was recorded and mixed at Blank Studios, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK and mastered at Abbey Road Studios, London, UK by Christian Wright.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new song from the upcoming album; Mr Medicine.
“Music is a powerful medicine and it should be consumed daily for mental wellbeing. Mr Medicine‘s faithful and highly regarded colleague is Doctor Gig, who we also have on speed dial,” vocalist Matthew Baty explains about the new song. “Lyrically I suppose the sentiment is not too dissimilar to SISTER SLEDGE‘s Lost In Music, only galvanised by heavy, heavy doses of distortion and really big drum fills.”
