Ruen Brothers announce new album ‘Ten Paces’
RUEN BROTHERS have announced a new album!
Titled Ten Paces, the new album from the Scunthorpe-based duo is the follow-up to 2021’s Ultramodern and is scheduled to be released in June this year via Yep Roc Records.
The album was produced by the band’s own Rupert Stansall. He comments, “We want listeners to be transported into the immersive world of Ten Paces, delivering something cinematic and personal.”
Alongside the announcement of the album, the band have released a music video for its latest single Bullet Blues. The video was shot and self-directed by the band themselves.
Speaking about the video, the band comment, “We felt the music stirred emotions similar to watching the credits roll on a sad film. Similar to Wim Wenders’ use of color in Paris, Texas we injected striking reds and blues – associated with love and heartbreak – to heighten the emotion within the song’s chorus. It’s the only music video from the album that isn’t wholly black and white.”
