Celestial Sanctuary announce new album ‘Insatiable Thirst For Torment’

CELESTIAL SANCTUARY have announced a new album!

Titled Insatiable Thirst For Torment, the upcoming album from the British death metal band is the follow-up to 2021’s Soul Diminished, and is scheduled to be released in August this year, via Church Road Records.

Speaking about the upcoming album, vocalist/guitarist Tom Cronin says, “this album fully unleashes what we’re all about. It’s heavier, it’s faster and it has it’s own rancid flavour. We wanted to create something that shows that we’re ‘not just another old school death metal band’ …we’ve gone beyond proving that and created a modern death metal record for true fans of the EXTREME!!!”

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new song from the upcoming album; Biomineralization (Cell Death).

Speaking about the new song, the band says, “this song is about a future society that has discovered that by harvesting the iron and copper from human blood, it creates the ultimate metal – perfect for weapons and armour. But this leads to people in lower classes inadvertently creating a black market for weaponized blood. Society collapses and the usual apocalyptic shit ensues.”
