Nytt Land release new music video for ‘Huginn Ok Muninn’

NYTT LAND have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track Huginn Ok Muninn, is taken from the Russian ambient and folk duo’s upcoming new album, Torem, which is scheduled to be released in October this year.

Speaking about the new single, the band says, “this song-spell on Old Norse is about Huginn and Muninn – two ravens endowed with speech. The role of Huginn and Muninn as messengers of the supreme God is connected with the tradition of shamanic practices and with the general symbolism of the northern peoples, depicting the raven as a source of hidden knowledge. The lyrics and rhythm of the song are interpreted as the transcendental journey of a shaman who worries about whether he can return from this state.”
