Between You & Me announce new EP ‘SH!T YEAH’
BETWEEN YOU & ME have announced a new EP!
Titled SH!T YEAH, the upcoming EP from the Australian pop-punk band is the follow-up to 2021’s Armageddon, and is scheduled to be released in April this year, via self-release.
For the new EP, the band teamed up once again with Canadian producer Sam Guaiana, who flew to Australia earlier this year to record with the band at Beveridge Road Recording Studios in Victoria’s Dandenong Ranges.
Alongside the announcement of the new EP, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming EP; In The Middle. The new song is the third single to be released from the upcoming EP, following on from YEAH! and Nevermind.
Speaking about the new song, vocalist JT says, “In The Middle is about the realisation that your relationship is over. The strong joy and excitement you once brought to each other’s lives had been replaced with fighting, bitterness and a complete breakdown in communication. Even despite this, you both yearn for it to work out and dream of the better times. You break up, you get back together, and the cycle continues, despite both recognising you had grown apart as people and the trust for each other was irreparable. The song encapsulates the slow breakdown of a relationship and the acceptance in moving on.”
