El Moono release new music video for ‘Haunting’
EL MOONO have released a new music video!
The new music video, for the track The Charm, is taken from the Brighton-based alt rock band’s upcoming debut album, The Waking Sun, which is scheduled to be released in May this year.
Speaking about the new song, the band says, “Haunting was written from the perspective of my partner. The lyrics address the toxicity of body dysmorphia, and immerse the listener in the body of someone experiencing it. The shoegaze-influenced choruses of Haunting are punctuated by Chris’ blastbeat sections, while Jim’s overdubs of a Rhodes keyboard re-amped through tonnes of reverb are providing the spacey highs. We didn’t have the opportunity to record a real choir for the breakdown, but we layered multiple Zac‘s alongside vocals from Rebecca Tranter.”

Alongside the release of the new music video, the band have announced a headlining UK tour for May and June this year. Tickets for the tour are available now and can be purchased here.
