WREX release new music video for ‘Heaven’s Gate’

WREX have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track Heaven’s Gate, is taken from the Brighton-based alternative duo’s upcoming new EP, This Hell Goes A Long Way Down, which is scheduled to be released in August this year, via self-release. The music video is “made up of footage we filmed of ourselves around Brighton, then converted to cartoon using AI, and made a ‘flick through’ loop of the footage.”

Speaking about the new song, the band shares, “I draw a lot on my own personal experiences in writing, and Heaven’s Gate is something I think we have all lived through. It’s about the dissolution of a relationship, and the stages that we go through in dealing with and processing that. The song was initially inspired by us watching a very close friend of ours go through a really traumatic break-up, and how helpless they felt through that.”
