The Dirty Nil announce new album ‘The Lash’

THE DIRTY NIL have announced a new album!

Titled The Lash, the upcoming album from the Canadian alternative band is the follow-up to 2023’s Free Rein To Passions, and is scheduled to be released in July this year, via Dine Alone Records.

During a trip to the Vatican, vocalist/guitarist Luke Bentham found inspiration in some of its forgotten art. “I was in a very dusty part of the basement, and they had these crazy bronze reliefs that were some of the most brutal things I’ve ever seen,” he recalls. “There was a particular one called The Horrors of War. It was two guys fighting over a knife. That image ended up guiding a lot of this record.”

Alongside the announcement of the new album, THE DIRTY NIL have released a brand new song lifted from the upcoming album; Gallop Of The Hounds.
