Ozzy Osbourne & Black Sabbath announce ‘Back To The Beginning’ soundtrack and film
OZZY OSBOURNE and BLACK SABBATH have announced the soundtrack and film release of Back To The Beginning!
The official soundtrack and concert film documenting the historic final performances from Ozzy Osbourne and the original BLACK SABBATH lineup is scheduled for December 11th, 2026 via Mercury Studios and will be available on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, CD, 2LP vinyl and digital formats.
The release follows the worldwide cinema premiere of OZZY OSBOURNE & BLACK SABBATH: Back To The Beginning, which documents the landmark July 5th, 2025 concert at Villa Park in Birmingham. The show marked Ozzy Osbourne‘s final live performance and reunited him with fellow BLACK SABBATH members Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward for the first time in over two decades.
Speaking about the release, Sharon Osbourne says, “Back To The Beginning was a once-in-a-lifetime event that will go down in music history. Ozzy suffered from chronic pain during the final six years of his life. His only wish was to perform one last time to thank his fans and say goodbye. It was an incredible day when his peers in the rock world descended on Aston from all over the globe to celebrate his legendary talent and extraordinary legacy.”
The concert featured appearances from METALLICA, SLAYER, PANTERA, TOOL, GOJIRA, LAMB OF GOD, ANTHRAX, ALICE IN CHAINS, HALESTORM, MASTODON, GUNS N’ ROSES, RIVAL SONS and many more, alongside all-star performances featuring Billy Corgan, Steven Tyler, Sammy Hagar, KK Downing, Papa V Perpetua, Yungblud, Nuno Bettencourt and Chad Smith.
