The Lunar Effect announce new album ‘Fortune’s Always Hiding’
London-based rock outfit THE LUNAR EFFECT have announced their third studio album!
Titled Fortune’s Always Hiding, the upcoming album from the British band is scheduled to be released in October this year, via Svart Records. The new record follows 2024’s Sounds of Green & Blue.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for the record’s lead single, Feed The Hand.
Speaking about the new single, the band comments, “Feed the Hand sets the tone for what’s to come, uncomfortable, deliberate, and heavy with implication. It reaches back with one hand, grabbing a handful of early 90’s alternative nostalgia to bring a high energy groove. With the other, it drags the listener through an unravelling; guidance twisted into obedience, time eroding memory from a feeling to a realisation. There’s weight here, but it’s not theatrical. It’s cathartic and satisfyingly powerful. A quiet reckoning fed by the band’s influences, serving up a whole new dish to the table.”
