Loathe announce new album ‘A Stranger To You’
LOATHE have announced a brand new album!
The Liverpool-based alternative metal quartet will release their long-awaited third studio album, A Stranger To You, on July 17th, 2026 via SharpTone Records. The album is the follow-up to 2020’s I Let It In And It Took Everything, a record that marked a defining moment for the band and established them as one of the most influential voices in modern heavy music.
Spanning 14 tracks, A Stranger To You sees LOATHE expanding their established sound with a broader sonic palette, incorporating psychedelia, layered synth textures, intricate percussion and an increased focus on immersive sound design. Rather than revisiting the approach of their previous release, A Stranger To You is structured as a fully interconnected album experience, designed to be heard in sequence from start to finish. It represents the band’s most sonically adventurous work to date, developed over the six years since their last full-length release.
Alongside the album announcement, LOATHE have also unveiled a new single and video titled Revenant, following on from last year’s Gifted Every Strength. The track has already become a staple of the band’s live set and features guest appearances from NOWHERE2RUN and CODE ORANGE members Jami Morgan and Eric ‘Shade’ Balderose.
