Accept announce new album ‘Teutonic Titans 1976-2026’
ACCEPT have announced a brand new album!
The German heavy metal legends will release a new album titled Teutonic Titans 1976–2026 on September 4th via Napalm Records. The album celebrates 50 years of the band, marking their legacy from their formation in 1976 through to the present day. Featuring 19 reimagined tracks taken from across their catalogue, Teutonic Titans 1976–2026 sees the band joined by 50 guest musicians, making it their most ambitious and collaborative release to date.
Led by guitarist Wolf Hoffmann alongside longtime vocalist Mark Tornillo, the album revisits material originally released between 1980’s I’m A Rebel and 1989’s Eat The Heat. Each track features a different combination of guest vocals and musicians, offering new interpretations while retaining the core structure of the original songs.
Confirmed guest appearances across the album include Tobias Forge, Kirk Hammett, Rob Halford, Phil Anselmo, Billy Corgan, K. K. Downing, Hansi Kürsch, Bobby Blitz, Ralf Scheepers, Billy Sheehan, Ola Englund and Jeff Loomis. The record also includes a re-recording of Hellhammer, performed by ACCEPT’s current lineup alongside Jason McMaster on vocals.
Speaking about the album, Wolf Hoffmann shares, “there is no better way to celebrate this 50-year anniversary than to have our musical peers, friends, and inspirations come together with us to record these classic ACCEPT songs, which I am honored and proud to share with the world. I hope everyone enjoys this very special record as much as we all enjoyed making it.”
