Honey Revenge announce new album ‘Loving and Losing’
HONEY REVENGE have announced a brand new album!
The US pop-rock duo will release their second album Loving and Losing on September 18th via Thriller Records, marking the follow-up to their 2023 debut Retrovision. The upcoming record sees the band continuing to build on their infectious, emotionally-driven sound, exploring themes of fate, self-discovery, and acceptance.
Alongside the announcement, HONEY REVENGE have released a brand new single titled Butterfly Effect, accompanied by an official visualiser. The new song is the latest single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from Run Your Mouth, Hot Commodity, Poison Apple Baby and Risk.
Speaking on the new single, vocalist Devin Papadol shares, “the Butterfly Effect is a concept where small, seemingly insignificant initial changes in events can lead to drastic and unpredictable consequences in the grand scheme of things. There’s an illusion that we as human beings have a choice in our own fate. Try as we might to be in control of every little thing in our lives, sometimes the universe has other plans in mind. This concept is explored in our new single Butterfly Effect. It can be comforting in tough times to lean into the idea that our destiny is somewhat predetermined. It makes transitional periods easier to power through. This song and its message embody the themes we’re looking forward to elaborating on and sharing on our sophomore album, Loving and Losing out September 18th!”
