Cult Of Luna release new song ‘The Rift’
CULT OF LUNA have released a new single!
The Swedish post-metal visionaries have unveiled The Rift, the latest single to be lifted from their upcoming tenth studio album, In the Shadow of Your Shadow, which is scheduled for release on November 6th via RED CRK. The new track arrives ahead of the band’s headline appearance at Damnation Festival next month and follows an acclaimed headline performance at this year’s ArcTanGent.
Speaking about the new track, vocalist Johannes Persson says, “The Rift is about the loneliness of the human experience and the urgent need to belong, to seek refuge in the collective. There’s a kind of euphoria in knowing your peers’ mantras, in feeling chosen for a greater cause. Those shared beliefs tell you who you belong to. More importantly, they tell you who is excluded.”
