Jamie Lenman releases new music video for ‘You’re Nothing’
JAMIE LENMAN has released a new music video!
The video is for You’re Nothing, the new single from the British alternative rock artist, and follows the release of Not Likely. The track is taken from his upcoming new album Puke (the follow-up to 2022’s The Atheist), which is set for release on August 6th. Speaking on the record’s raw approach, Lenman explains, “I made this album completely by accident and really, it’s not an album, although it is unified by the fact that nothing took more than a day to make, and I didn’t do more than three takes of anything.”
Talking about the inspiration behind the track, Lenman states, “lyrically You’re Nothing is about putting people away, especially people who seem to think their views are in some way clever or important. Really I’m talking about the kind of bigot who absolutely can’t help themselves from spouting hurtful nonsense, or someone giving it the big I Am – I’m just trying to take these people down a peg. You know, why should we listen to you? Sit down mate.”

The album will be released exclusively via Bandcamp on a pay-what-you-want model. Lenman says, “when I put Not Likely on Bandcamp in April for pay-what-you-want, I made more money than any other single I’ve ever released… all of that goes straight back into making more art.”
Puke is set for release on August 6th via via self-release.
