Still Remains announce new EP ‘Spirit Breaker’

STILL REMAINS have announced their return with a brand new EP!

Titled Spirit Breaker, the new EP from the Grand Rapids, Michigan metalcore veterans is set for release on June 12th via Arson Theory. The release marks the band’s first new music since their 2013 fan-funded full-length Ceasing To Breathe.

Produced and co-written by Lee Albrecht [HOLLOW FRONT, GORE., OF VIRTUE], the five-track EP is described as the band’s most personal and emotional release to date. Artwork for Spirit Breaker comes from Kevin Moore / Mind Reader Inc, winner of the 2026 Juno Award for Album Artwork of the Year for SPIRITBOX’s Tsunami Sea.

Speaking about the upcoming EP, frontman T. J. Miller states, “for this record we tried to stay true to the sound that our fans have grown to love, but also evolve a bit and add some more modern influences into our sound. We wanted this to sound like an updated version of the classic STILL REMAINS sound, and I think we pulled it off. This is easily the most personal, and emotional record we’ve done from a lyrical standpoint.”

The EP’s lead single, The Wound And The Weapon, features a guest appearance from Guy Kozowyk of THE RED CHORD and marked the band’s first new material in over twelve years. It was released alongside an official music video directed by Dave Prindle. The second single, Erase You, is out now and is accompanied by another official music video, once again directed by Prindle.
