Saxon announce UK tour
SAXON have announced a headlining UK and Ireland tour!
The British heavy metal legends will bring their Gods Of Thunder World Tour to the UK and Ireland in February 2027, ahead of their upcoming 25th studio album (the follow-up to 2024’s Hell, Fire and Damnation), which is set for release in early 2027 via Silver Lining Music. The run will see the band deliver a special Castles & Eagles production, marking one of their most ambitious live shows in recent years.
Adding to the spectacle, the band will revive their iconic 30-foot mechanised Eagle stage prop — a centrepiece of their legendary early 80s tours — for all dates except Cardiff due to venue restrictions. Originally constructed during preparations for their seminal 1981 album Denim And Leather, the Eagle has since become a defining symbol of the band, even inspiring the title of their 1982 live album The Eagle Has Landed.
Speaking about the tour, frontman Biff Byford shares, “we wanted to make the Gods of Thunder UK & Ireland tour extra special. And what better way than to fly our beloved Saxon Eagle again… Get ready for take-off!”
Tickets go on sale on Friday June 26th at 9am and will be available for purchase here.
