Valley Of The Sun announce new album ‘The Blacklight Sessions’
VALLEY OF THE SUN have announced a brand new album!
Titled The Blacklight Sessions, the upcoming release from the Ohio-based heavy rock trio is set for release on October 2nd via Heavy Psych Sounds Records. The album follows 2024’s Quintessence and marks the band’s first release for their new label, following a recently announced signing to Heavy Psych Sounds. Featuring six tracks, the record sees VALLEY OF THE SUN continuing to expand their blend of blues rock, stoner rock, psychedelia, and riff-driven heaviness while embracing the power-trio dynamic of Ryan Ferrier, Chris Sweeney, and Johnny Kathman.
Alongside the announcement, the band have released the first single, The Whiskey Elf. The new song was first premiered via The Obelisk.
