Bloodstock Festival announce 27 bands for 2027
Bloodstock Festival have announced 27 bands for their 2027 edition!
The UK’s biggest independent metal festival has unveiled the first wave of artists set to perform at Catton Park, Derbyshire between August 5th and 8th, 2027. The announcement includes all Ronnie James Dio and Sophie Lancaster Stage headliners, plus a host of special guests.
Topping the Ronnie James Dio Stage bill are Danish heavy metal legends MERCYFUL FATE, German electronicore outfit ELECTRIC CALLBOY and gothic metalcore band MOTIONLESS IN WHITE. Elsewhere, the Sophie Lancaster Stage headliners have been confirmed as New York hardcore veterans MADBALL, Portuguese black metal outfit GAEREA, German blackened death metal force KANONENFIEBER and melodic death metal act DETHKLOK.

Speaking about their headline appearance, MOTIONLESS IN WHITE frontman Chris Motionless shares, “Bloodstock! We were told that we are one of the most requested bands to perform at your legendary festival, so it is with great honor to announce that we are answering the call and will be seeing you next year for our first ever European festival headlining show, and only UK show of 2027! Thank you so much! Let the countdown begin.”
Meanwhile, MERCYFUL FATE frontman King Diamond says, “MERCYFUL FATE is honored and looking extremely forward to playing Bloodstock again, last time was awesome, and this time with a brand new album out, FINALLY!!!” And ELECTRIC CALLBOY adds, “our first ever Bloodstock. Heavy music, questionable outfits, and thousands of metalheads? Sounds like a Perfect fit to us. We’re in. See you there!”
Bloodstock Festival 2027 takes place at Catton Park, Derbyshire from 5th-8th August, 2027. Early bird tickets are available now, with general sale beginning on August 10th, and can be purchased here.
