Firewind announce new album ‘Gods, Myths & Titans’
FIREWIND have announced a brand new album!
The Greek power metal outfit have revealed their new album, Gods, Myths & Titans, which is scheduled for release on February 19th, 2027 via BLKIIBLK. The upcoming record follows 2024’s Stand United and marks the band’s first release through their new label, while also welcoming the return of vocalist Henning Basse.
Speaking about the new record, guitarist Gus G. shares, “we’ve wanted to make a concept album about Greek mythology for a long time, and finally we got around to it. It’s been two years in the making, and our goal was to create the most epic album in the history of the band. Adding cinematic and orchestral elements to our classic metal sound gave a whole new layer, enhancing the style of FIREWIND. Each track is a gate to a different myth. We went all in with the visual side as well and worked with Felipe Machado, who created unique artwork for every song. These are tales of power, glory, tragedy, and defiance.”
To coincide with the announcement, FIREWIND have also unveiled The Legend Of Achilles, the first single to be taken from the forthcoming album. Speaking about the new single, Gus G. continues, “today we give you the first single, and it’s about Achilles, one of the mightiest warrior legends to ever walk the earth. Turn up the volume and enter the realm of Gods, Myths & Titans.”
