Gore. announce new EP ‘…Then You Cannot Leave Me’
GORE. have announced a brand new EP!
The Texas metal outfit have revealed their new EP, …Then You Cannot Love Me, which is scheduled for release on October 9th via Spinefarm Records. The upcoming record follows 2025’s If You Do Not Fear Me… EP, with the two releases designed to function as companion pieces.
To coincide with the announcement, GORE. have also unveiled Crucified, the second single from the forthcoming EP, alongside an accompanying music video, which follows on from Lead Me To The Slaughter.
Speaking about the new single, vocalist Haley Roughton shares, “this song is about someone who is so seductive that they lead you right into temptation. They have you wrapped around their finger, and they know it. You idolize them. You try as hard as you can to resist, but there’s something both painful and pleasurable about their presence, so you give into them and whatever chaos you know they’ll bring.”
Discussing the relationship between the two EPs, Roughton explains, “we always wanted to release it like that. We wanted a more looming, cynical sound in the first EP and as time went on, we wanted to develop the sound towards something closer to what we want to sound like as a band together. I’m hoping the fans, especially those who have been with us since day one, can see the evolution and how those two connect.”
