Battlesnake announce new album ‘Bogpocalypse And The Annihilation Of Lucifer’

BATTLESNAKE have announced a brand new album!

The Australian heavy metal outfit have announced their new album, Bogpocalypse And The Annihilation Of Lucifer, which is scheduled for release on February 19th, 2027. The record is the follow-up to 2025’s Dawn Of The Exultants And The Hunt For The Shepherd and arrives alongside the release of its third single, Bog Bringer.

Following previously released singles I Killed Satan and Mud Apocalypse, the new track offers another glimpse into the band’s latest absurdist heavy metal adventure, which the group describe as “a 90s Goosebumps novel with guns.”

Recorded in Prague during an intensive three-and-a-half-week studio session, Bogpocalypse And The Annihilation Of Lucifer sees the band embracing a darker, heavier and stranger direction while retaining the theatricality and humour that has made them one of Australia’s most distinctive heavy acts.
