Milwaukee Metal Fest announces first bands for 2027
Milwaukee Metal Fest have announced the first wave of bands for their 2027 edition!
The long-running US metal festival will return to The Rave/Eagles Ballroom in Milwaukee, Wisconsin from May 14th-16th, 2027, with a special pre-party kicking off proceedings on May 13th.
Leading the initial announcement are Swedish progressive metal titans MESHUGGAH, who will celebrate their 40th anniversary with a headlining performance. They will be joined by thrash metal legends TESTAMENT, New Orleans sludge metal pioneers CROWBAR, doom metal favourites YOB, and grindcore heavyweights PIG DESTROYER and REPULSION.
Organisers have confirmed that many more bands will be announced in the coming months.
Founded in 1987, the festival is one of the longest-running metal festivals in the United States. Following its revival in 2023 under the direction of HATEBREED frontman Jamey Jasta, the festival has continued to showcase a diverse range of heavy music, spanning death metal, doom, thrash, hardcore, metalcore and extreme metal.
