Alter Bridge release new live video for ‘Words Darker Than Their Wings’

ALTER BRIDGE have released a new live video!

The new live video showcases the band performing Words Darker Than Their Wings from their upcoming live album Live At The Royal Albert Hall, which captures the band’s two sold-out shows at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall backed by the 52-piece Parallax Orchestra led by conductor Simon Dobsonin October last year.

The track is taken from 2010’s ABIII and until these two shows, the track had never been previously performed live. Speaking about the track, guitarist Mark Tremonti says, “Words Darker Than Their Wings was a song that we never played before ever and its been one of our favourites, especially me and Scott Phillips. That’s been one of our top 3 ALTER BRIDGE songs since we wrote it and its just one of those songs that we have been trying and trying and trying to play live and Myles is always kind of pushing back about it and finally, you know with this orchestra he [Myles] said this is the perfect time to do it. We did and it was the biggest reaction of both nights.”
