PREMIERE: Evasion – Khaidian
Distorted Sound is delighted to premiere the brand new music video from KHAIDIAN!
Fusing the polyrhythmic technicality of djent, with haunting trance-like electronica, filthy dubstep drops, and a soaring, soulful vocal style, the sound from these rising metallers has been a long time coming. First formed in 2010 and plagued with lineup changes, KHAIDIAN has been a project eight years in the making, and now, they are ready to make their mark and we here at Distorted Sound are delighted to premiere their brand new music video!
The new music video, for the track Evasion, is lifted from the band’s upcoming debut album Penumbra which is scheduled to be released in January next year. Speaking about the track, guitarist/programmer John Tyrell, who also created the animated video for that accompanies the track, says, “Evasion is a seriously groove laden and heavy track and I think captures a nice element of what KHAIDIAN are about. Andy‘s lyrics are about his love affair with music and I tried to show that within the video I animated. How we have a symbiotic relationship with music and the way it feeds back on itself creating new and surprising results, that take us on a journey we would never have thought.”
