Gloo announce new EP ‘Stop and Stare’
GLOO have announced a brand new EP!
The EP, titled Stop and Stare, is scheduled for release in April and follows the Littlehampton trio’s 2018 debut album, A Pathetic Youth.
Alongside the EP announcement, the band have also released their brand new single Drama Queen.
Speaking about the track and accompanying music video, guitarist and vocalist Tom Harfield says, “I normally stay away from writing about relationships because it’s hard to come up with a love song that no ones written before. It’s not like I haven’t heard the words ‘drama queen’ before but I remember hearing someone saying it and I was like now that’s a cool name I can use for a song. From there I kind of put myself in the mind of someone with relationship troubles, channeling any angst I was feeling at the time into this. I think everyone has some form of drama queen in their life that can relate to – even if you’re a singleton! If you don’t know how that feels, maybe you might after watching this.”
