Sugar Horse release new music video for ‘Pity Party’
SUGAR HORSE have released a new music video!
The new music video, for the track Pity Party, is taken from the Bristol-based doomgaze quartet’s upcoming new EP DRUGS which is scheduled to be released in April this year.
Formed in 2015 as a trio in a flat in Bristol messing around with their fuzz pedals, the band was finally completed with the addition of a fourth member on guitar and keyboards, 2019’s standalone single GAKEATER, allowing them to add density to their sound.
“There was a lot of emphasis on having a pacey, driving and technical sound…” says the band. “We wanted to do the opposite; Make everything simple and slow everything down. I think the best art is formed when it’s creators enforce rigid rules on themselves. Mondrian had geometry, Mark E Smith had his hatred for cigarette taxation and we have a complete disregard for urgency.”

DRUGS is set for release on April 17th via self-release. The band will support BLACK PEAKS in April.
