PREMIERE: Ce Silence Qui Nous Délivre De Tout – WuW
We here at Distorted Sound are delighted to premiere the new music video from WUW!
The new music video, for the track Ce Silence Qui Nous Délivre De Tout, is taken from the Parisian duo’s latest studio album, Rétablir L’Eternité, which was released back in March.
Speaking about the new music video, the band tells us, “the video should have been shot at the very beginning of spring and would have been ready shortly after the album’s release. Unfortunately, the isolation period and virus times have disrupted our plans and everything became much more difficult. For this video, the two film-makers were influenced by Les Documents Interdits (The Forbidden Files) by Jean-Teddy Filippe, which is a french short-films series. It was shot in the 80’s for TV and is in the “found footage” genre. The main principle is that the fantastical and supernatural elements are only suggested instead of visible. Everything lies in the ambiguity of the images. They also played with the codes of fantasy cinema. It was a challenge to create a video for a 12 minutes track but we are really happy and proud of the result.”
