A Burial At Sea release new song ‘masterfred’

A BURIAL AT SEA have released a brand new song!

The new song, titled masterfred, is taken from the UK post-rock band’s upcoming new album, Close To Home (the follow-up to 2020’s self-titled debut), which is scheduled to be released in February this year, via Pelagic Records.

Speaking about the new song, Patrick Blaney from the band says, “Masterfred was originally a silly working title. We named the track after Dara’s dad Fred because he’s a legend but, as we dug deeper into our inspirations for this album, there was no doubt that he absolutely deserves to be on the record in some shape or form. Although the track is one of the darkest on this record, the title brings a familiar light-heartedness to it.”
