Area 11 unveil new music video for ‘After The Flags’

UK alternative rockers AREA 11 have released a brand new music video!

The music video, for the track After The Flags, is taken from the band’s latest studio record Modern Synthesis, which was released earlier this year. Speaking about the music video, bassist Jonathan Kogan says, After The Flags deals with themes of alienation, tribalism and the shift between nationalist and globalist societies. We wanted to write a simple hard rock song that’s full of energy and a which was slight departure from our more dramatic/electronic tracks. We shot the video with Roger (who directed The Contract video) at this really unique and historic location down South, at these huge acoustic sound mirrors – a long since defunct military technology. We chose this location for as the setting visually represents how ideas that once stood so tall can be soon left behind and forgotten. It was a long, cold and wet shoot, but was worth it to capture such an fascinating location.”
