Artificial Language announce new EP ‘Distant Glow’

ARTIFICIAL LANGUAGE have announced a new EP!

Titled Distant Glow, the upcoming EP from the American progressive metal band is the long-awaited follow-up to 2019’s Now We Sleep, and is scheduled to be released in March this year, via self-release.

Alongside the announcement of the new EP, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming EP; Skinwalker. Speaking about the new song, the band shares, Skinwalker is the concluding track to the Distant Glow EP. Sonically, it’s a slight step towards an aggressive sound for the group. It’s a song that lyrically deals with manipulation – one can be manipulated by loved ones, religious figures, people in power, and even our own social statuses we’ve built for ourselves. The EP’s narrative draws to a close by dealing with the consequences of this.”

So excited for this EP, I hope they make enough of everything for pre-orders that I can grab some merch. Rain Follows felt like it blew my mind when I just heard it, and Artificial Language has been scratching an itch that nothing else really hits. Thank you for finding out the release date
