Awakening Sun release new music video for ‘Someone Else’

AWAKENING SUN have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track Someone Else, is taken from the Dutch/Lithuanian metal band’s upcoming new EP, I Am More, which is scheduled to be released in October this year.

Speaking about the new song and its accompanying music video, the band says, “this new track, Someone Else, is definitely one of the heaviest songs on the EP. Not only because of heavy riffs and blast beats, but also lyrically its message about self-underestimation, not feeling fulfilled. The character of the song is always questioning himself and is feeling depressed. We filmed the music video of us playing on a green screen and afterwards projected the footage on different buildings during the night to convey the dark and depressive message.

With this release, we wanted to take the band’s sound to a new level. We are always excited to work on our new material, because every band member has valuable creative input of the art that is being worked on at that moment. We are a mixture of heavy genres put into one cohesive set of music that punches through their listeners’ ear drums with huge melodies, epic sections with big breakdowns.
