Belmondo announce debut EP ‘The Blessed And The Evil’
BELMONDO have announced their debut EP!
Titled The Blessed And The Evil, the upcoming EP from the Brighton-based alternative band is their debut studio recording and is scheduled to be released in April this year, via Silent Cult Recordings.
Alongside the announcement of the debut EP, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming EP; Ventriloquists. The new song is the second single to be released from the upcoming EP, following on from Bethlehem, which was released last month.
Speaking about the new song, vocalist/guitarist Kelan Moore says, “at the start of last year I met someone so manipulative that I had to process my experience of them through Ventriloquists. They had this ability to convince people to do whatever they wanted despite being constantly cruel and degrading to them. It was like they were puppets on strings, hence the title. It took some time to get over it but this is my way of saying I’m no longer a puppet on their strings.”
