blanket release new music video for ‘Nuclear Boy Scout’

BLANKET have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track Nuclear Boy Scout, is taken from the Blackpool-based post-rock band’s upcoming new album, Ceremonia, which is scheduled to be released later this month.

Speaking about the new song, vocalist/guitarist Bobby Pook says, “this is the last of four singles from our Ceremonia record, the Nuclear Boy Scout was a story I read about a young lad in America called David Hahn who built a nuclear reactor in his mum’s back garden. Simon wrote this song and put it in chat, when we listened we were all instantly hooked and I came up with vocal melodies that night.

Musically it reminds me of CAVE IN‘s Jupiter era in parts and also has more shoegaze/emo elements in certain sections of the track. We can’t wait for everyone to hear Ceremonia in full on 22nd March, and we’re celebrating its release with a full play-through in our hometown of Blackpool at Bootleg Social on the 23rd!”

Ceremonia is set for release on March 22nd via Church Road Records. Pre-orders are available now and can be purchased here.
