Bleeker announce new album ‘ELEPHANT’
BLEEKER have announced a brand new album!
The Canadian rock band have announced their new album, ELEPHANT, set for release on September 4th, 2026 via Known Accomplice. The record follows 2024’s Messed Up and continues to build on the band’s anthemic, hook-driven sound.
Speaking on the upcoming album, frontman Taylor Perkins shares, “we’ve made a few records now, but ELEPHANT feels very special to us. We were largely left alone to make this one with very little distractions. We were also on a prolific writing streak (still are) and going into this one had over 25 song demos or ruff recordings to polish and workshop. If ELEPHANT didn’t sonically set the tone it certainly set the bar, we’ll always try to write albums that have depth and represent who we are as a band, so it feels like to us, we’ve created an album that is just that. This album is like an elephant, It’s an album about that really balances power with sensitivity, and strength with softness.”
Alongside the announcement, the band have released the album’s title track, ELEPHANT. Speaking about the new single, Perkins shares, “this is the heaviest song we’ve written to date. We wanted its presence on the album to feel undeniable, like an Elephant. It’s big, gritty and moves with weight. The message is equally heavy and dark, It’s about the building rage addressing acts of violence and intimidation committed by someone so pathetic, insecure, and overcompensating for the power they never deserved or ever really had.”
