Bloodstock confirm another five bands

Bloodstock have confirmed another five bands for this year’s festival!

With the festival now only 100 days away, announcements are coming thick and fast and now, another five bands have been confirmed for this year’s festival. Mancunian hardcore mob BROKEN TEETH have been confirmed as the opener for the Ronnie James Dio Stage on the Sunday whilst Finnish metallers WOLFHEART, USA rockers LIONIZE, German blackened doom duo MANTAR and BLACK MOTH will perform on the Sophie Lancaster Stage.

The bands announced today join Friday’s headliners AMON AMARTH, Sunday’s headliners MEGADETH, Saturday’s headliners GHOST plus ARCH ENEMY, KREATOR, BLIND GUARDIAN, HATEBREED, TESTAMENT, OBITUARY, KING 810, BRUJERIA, WHITECHAPEL, SKINDRED, POSSESSED, ANNIHILATOR, MUNICIPAL WASTE, HELL, DECAPITATED, SOILWORK, CHELSEA GRIN, MACABRE, INQUISITION, KINGPARROT, SCARAB, WINTERSUN, ONI, DENDERA, KROH, ABHORRENT DECIMATION, COURTESANS, WRETCHED SOUL, BOSSK, and WINTERFYLLETH. More bands will be announced for the festival in the coming weeks.

Alongside the announcement of new bands performing, the festival have also confirmed the return of the 100%CA strongmen competition. Sponsored by XPLOSIVEAPE on the Friday at the festival, the ladies will battle it out for England’s Strongest Woman, with a £1200 prize up for grabs which is a first for the women’s sport. Saturday brings the return of Europe’s Strongest Man u90kg and Sunday’s finale offers a tiered prize pot of £2500 for the top 5 in XPLOSIVEAPE’s Strongest Man. Also confirmed to be returning to the festival is the Kraken Freaky Tiki black spiced rum bar and the Jagermeister stage.
