Bloodstock Festival announce 11 new bands

11 more bands have been announced for this year’s Bloodstock Festival!

After last year’s festival, like countless others, was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with a roadmap out of the current lockdown and the continued vaccination drive to return life to normal, the UK’s biggest metal festival is all set to go ahead this year and four more bands have been announced for 2021’s festival!

Following on from the last announcement on March 9th, which saw the likes of KREATOR, SEIDRBLOT, BLOODSHOT DAWN and EVILE joining the lineup, now, 11 more bands have been announced for 2021’s festival.

THE WILDHEARTS romp into a main stage slot on Friday, RAGING SPEEDHORN land a slot on Friday’s Sophie Lancaster Stage billing and PHIL CAMPBELL & THE BASTARD SONS will headline the Sophie Lancaster Stage on Saturday night, replacing the withdrawn CATTLE DECAPITATION.

Also announced in the latest announcement are HACKTIVIST, THUNDEROUS JONES, ASHEN CROWN, LUNA’S CALL, URNE, FORLORN WORLD, SEETHING AKIRA and KING WITCH who all grab Thursday spots on the Sophie Lancaster Stage.

Also included in the latest Bloodstock news is the re-booted version of the Metal 2 The Masses scheme! Due to the ongoing lockdown restrictions to combat COVID-19, the annual scheme to scout underground talent is now back under way, with 21 regions hosting one-off events to fast track a selection of local bands to the Hobgoblin New Blood Stage.

Bloodstock Festival will take place at Catton Park, Derbyshire from 11th-15th August 2021. Tickets are available now and can be purchased here.
