Bloodstock Festival announce 14 new bands

Bloodstock Festival have announced 14 new bands for this year’s festival!

After announcing the likes of TRIPTYKONSKYNDWARKINGSFROZEN SOUL and more last month, now, 14 more bands have been announced for the UK’s biggest metal festival!

Completing Friday’s Ronnie James Dio main stage lineup are doomsters WITCHSORROW who land the opening slot, plus Lancaster rockers WYTCH HAZEL, and Polish blackened death metallers HATE. Saturday’s main stage additions sees Swedish rockers ROYAL REPUBLIC, and highly acclaimed Woking metalheads EMPLOYED TO SERVE, and Sunday sees Swedish outfit TRIBULATION land a slot on the main stage.

Speaking about performing at this year’s festival, EMPLOYED TO SERVE vocalist Justine Jones says, “we’re delighted to announce that we are playing Bloodstock for the very first time. We can’t wait to fly the flag for heavy metal along with the world’s finest talent on the main stage. See you in the pit!”

In addition, The Sophie Lancaster Stage sees doom metallers CANDLEMASS land a headlining Friday slot on the festival’s second stage, replacing WHITECHAPEL who withdraw from the lineup, whilst Lancashire death metallers BLOODYARDWOLFBASTARDBLACK COASTRUSSKAJAGAEREASTRIKER and SKIN FAILURE join the lineup across the August festival weekend.

Bloodstock Festival 2023 is set to take place at Catton Park, Derbyshire from 10th August – 13th August 2023. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here
